I have been in Business Travel over 22 years, but when you couple that with my partner Sue Plummer we have 37 years joint experience! I worked for British Airways for 13 years, the last 10 of which was on the Ticket Desk at Heathrow, so I know a few tricks when it comes to issuing tickets. I can also appreciate how the small touches such as a preassigned seat can make a business trip a much more pleasant experience. Life is stressful enough without having to change to a non smoking hotel room when you turn up in the middle of the night in a far flung part of the world!

Following voluntary redundancy from BA and a move back to the Isle of Wight I joined American Express Business Travel at an implant at GKN Westland Aerospace in Cowes. 2 years later I was made redundant and this prompted me to start with Travel Counsellors. 5 years later and business is great!

Sue and I arrange business travel for various Island and Mainland companies including Gurit, Readers Direct and Liz Earle Active Skincare. We have a niche market in the marine industry on the Island and are the preferred travel supplier to the Cowes Marine Cluster (www.cowesmarinecluster.com)
